Welcome to Ascend. By accessing or using our app, website, or services, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Use of the Service
Ascend provides fitness tracking, workout logging, personal record submissions, competitive ranking features, faction features, and messaging within factions. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in a respectful manner.
User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.
User Content
You may submit content such as workout data, personal records, videos, faction names, faction descriptions, and messages or other content shared within factions. You agree that all content you submit is accurate, lawful, and not misleading. Ascend reserves the right to review, approve, reject, restrict, or remove any content at its discretion.
Factions and Faction Messaging
Ascend may allow users to create, join, manage, or participate in factions. Ascend may also allow users to communicate through messaging features within factions. You are responsible for any content you create, post, or share through faction features, including faction names, descriptions, and messages.
Messages and content shared within factions may be visible to other faction members. Ascend reserves the right to monitor, review, moderate, restrict, or remove faction content or messages when necessary to enforce these Terms, respond to reports, protect users, or maintain the integrity of the service.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- submit false or manipulated performance data;
- attempt to exploit or manipulate rankings, competitions, factions, or other features of the service;
- harass, threaten, bully, or harm other users;
- send spam or abusive messages through faction messaging;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity;
- create or share unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate content; or
- interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the service.
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts, remove faction content or messages, or restrict access to faction features for users who violate these Terms or misuse the service.
Service Availability
Ascend is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ascend is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the service.
Changes to the Service
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the service, including factions or messaging features, at any time without notice.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
